EU Visit

The Ghana Commodity Exchange hosted a delegation from the European Union at the GCX offices in Ridge, Accra. The delegation was welcomed by the CEO, Dr Kadri Alfah, and DCEO, Mrs Tucci Goka Ivowi, of the Exchange.

The aim of the visit was to discuss the deepening of relations between the Exchange and the EU; as well as the ways in which the mission and vision of GCX can be achieved with the support of partners such as the EU in ways that serve to transform Ghana’s economy through agriculture.

The Ghana Commodity Exchange recently launched the trade of soya bean on its trading platform which is a great opportunity for Ghanaian farmers and indeed the entire the entire soya bean value chain.
